The outcome
Legit.Health is building the category-defining clinical-intelligence layer for dermatology, as an independent company at scale. The exit thesis is not "sell early"; it is "build a must-own asset."
Strategic appetite for clinical AI is real
Clinical-AI platforms are being acquired at scale by large healthcare players. Roche's 2026 agreement to acquire the digital-pathology AI company PathAI (up to roughly $1B) is a clear recent signal of strategic-acquirer appetite for this kind of asset. We treat it as a market signal, not a valuation benchmark.
A rich acquirer landscape
Legit.Health sits at the intersection of several buyer universes, some of which already overlap with current commercial partners. A large independent outcome does not depend on any single acquirer.
Our stance
- Not for sale now. Series A capital funds the path to a larger, independent outcome.
- Optionality by design. We are building to scale independently; a strategic transaction remains a credible alternative, on our timing and terms, not under pressure.
A large-outcome ambition in a category with real strategic-acquirer appetite (the Roche / PathAI precedent), and optionality in both directions: you are not betting on a single exit path, and you are not entering a company that needs to sell.
