SERMAS clinical study
SERMAS (Servicio Madrileño de Salud) integrated Legit.Health to help General Practitioners (GPs) increase the adequacy of referrals to dermatology. The study involved three medical institutions: Hospital Universitario Puerta de Hierro, plus two primary care centres (Valle de la Oliva and San Juan de la Cruz). 40 practitioners and 100 patients participated.
GPs augmented their diagnostic capabilities by up to 13%, with particular effectiveness in skin cancer diagnosis.
Osakidetza partnership
Osakidetza (Basque Health Service) has been a collaborative partner since 2019, when we initiated our first clinical validation study. Dr. Jesús Gardeazabal (Cruces) and Dr. Rosa Izu (Basurto) led the clinical adoption.
A 2023 follow-up study of 6 months enrolled ~50 patients, measuring reduction in waiting lists and associated costs.
